Reflection

    During the Second Quarter, I have learned many new lessons and gained more knowledge about our subjects. I discovered many thing one of them is that learning becomes easier when you listening carefully, participate in class, and manage my time well. And how to solve difference equation specially in our subject basic electronics, also on how to calculate current at power. I also improved my skills in writing, researching, and working with my classmates on group activities. With the help of our English, Researcher, and other subjects.

    One of the challenges I faced was balancing school tasks and deadlines. Sometimes, I found it hard to understand some lessons or finish activities on time. Specially when i don’t have any interest to the lesson. There were moments when I felt pressured, especially when many projects were given at once.

    To overcome these challenges, I started organizing my schedule and asking help from my teachers and classmates whenever I didn’t understand something. I also learned to study earlier instead of waiting for the last minute. I also helped the to the thing that they couldn’t understand, it also a big help for me because when i taught someone it is easier for me to better understand the lesson. And i do my best to listen in every lesson even though i don’t have interest in this lesson. These small action helped me handle my schoolwork better.

    Moving on, I will continue to do my best and become more responsible with my studies. I will keep improving my habits, listen more in class, and never give up even when things get difficult. I believe that with hard work and a positive attitude, I can achieve more in the next quarter.

“My Teacher, My Hero”

    This year’s Teacher’s Month Celebration with the theme “My Teacher, My Hero” reminds us of the countless sacrifices and dedication of teachers who guide us toward our dreams. Teachers are more than just educators, they are mentors, inspirations, and everyday heroes who shape the future through their students. They dedicate their time, patience, and wisdom to help us learn, grow, and become better individuals.

    Sir Rolly Raceles, my Grade 8 Biotechnology teacher. He was not only knowledgeable in his subject but also passionate about helping us understand and appreciate science. His way of teaching made even the most difficult lessons interesting and meaningful. Sir Rolly always encouraged us to think critically, to be curious, and to never stop learning, qualities that continue to guide me even now. I express my gratitude and respect to Sir Rolly and all teachers by valuing the lessons they taught me and applying them in real life. Simple gestures like saying “thank you,” giving a heartfelt message, or showing effort in class are meaningful ways to honor their hard work. I also believe that striving to be the best version of myself is one of the greatest ways to make my teachers proud.

Teachers like Sir Rolly Raceles are true heroes, not because they wear capes, but because they touch lives and inspire minds every single day. Their dedication and love for teaching create a lasting impact that continues to shape our future. This celebration reminds us to always be thankful to the heroes who once stood in front of us with a lesson, a smile, and a heart full of hope.

Small Actions, Big Changes for Our Future, A Better Future Starts with Us

    The Philippines is a country that constantly experiences both sudden and gradual environmental changes. As an archipelago located in the Pacific Ring of Fire it is naturally prone to hazards such as earthquakes, typhoons, and volcanic eruptions. As the time passes this environmental problems have become more intense and destructive, not only because of natural phenomena but also due to human activities. Climate change, is one of the greatest challenges faced by Filipinos today.

    

   Because the Philippines is often hit by typhoons, floods, and other natural disasters, even small environmental changes have a huge impact on people’s lives.  This is because of climate change it causes stronger storms, rainfall, and rising sea levels continue to affect communities, that can destroy homes, and  even worse is it can worsen poverty. Human actions such as deforestation, pollution, burning fossil fuels, and the improper disposal of waste have also contributed greatly to these change. It makes the climate change worse. This can also threatens livelihoods or the agriculture, making it harder for farmers to grow their plants and families yo have a resources in their daily life. Deforestation also plays a crucial role in making the climate worse. As the population grows, more trees are cut down to provide wood for livelihood and land for human to build their houses of even business. This reduces the ability of the environment to absorb excess rainwater, leading to floods that put vulnerable communities at risk. Also the lack of  projects and policies about things like this, along with the selfish people who only thinks about themselves but they cant think to those people who work hard to survive in their every day life. This further worsen the condition. Those who are poor and financially unstable are the one who suffer the most, as they struggle to recover from disasters and are more exposed to sickness and hardship.

  

  Despite these challenges, Filipinos continue to show remarkable resilience. Communities unite to help one another, rebuild what is lost, and adapt to the changing environment. Resilience is not just about recovering from disasters but also about helping one another to prepare for the future. Working together and planting trees, and make action on climate issues, Filipinos can face problems and can surpass this problem if them have this things. People can support each other with unity and courage to build a better future.

  

   Environmental changes in the Philippines like typhoons and earthquakes, or gradual like rising sea levels are caused by both natural forces and human actions. These challenges will continue to threaten millions of lives if left unaddressed. Resilience is important, but it is not enough. To make the country’s future better, we must address the main causes of these problems. By working together, making stronger policies, make sustainable solutions, let your voice heard to let the people around you be aware of the things that happening and the things that they should do. The Philippines can overcome these challenges and build a safer, healthier, and more hopeful future for generations to come.

ISNHS Intramurals 25-26

 

I really enjoyed a lot of things during the intrams. It was a fun and exciting experience that I will never forget. On the first day, I arrived at school early because I wanted to help my classmate who joined the Ms. and Mr. Intramurals competition. I helped her prepare and gave her some support before the event. Sadly, me and another classmate were not able to watch the pageant because only athletes were allowed to enter the gymnasium at that time. Even though I felt a little sad, I was still very happy when my classmate won the pageant. I felt proud of her and glad that all her efforts were worth it. On the second day of the intrams, I had so much fun. This was the day I enjoyed the most. I joined my friend who is a member of the RCYC. We went to watch the basketball game because this where she assigned. I helped to take care of the athletes who got injured. It felt good to be part of something meaningful and I felt happy to helped people. With this small action it means a lot to me. Because helping others makes me happy and im proud to help them. 

During the intrams, I saw many players win, and I also saw others lose. Watching them made me think deeply. It made me realize that even if you train hard and give your best, sometimes things don't favor you always. But that doesn’t mean you failed. It just means that maybe it’s not the right time for you. You just have to wait, be patient, and never give up. If you keep trying and doing your best, your time will come. Everything happens for a reason, and we should not lose hope. We should always believe that great things are possible, even when they seem hard.

Intramurals are more than just school events. They are important because they help students discover and improve their talents, especially in sports and other fun activities. It gives everyone a chance to show what they can do or their talent. Intrams also help us learn how to work as a team, how to socialize with other students, how to be disciplined, and most importantly, how to show sportsmanship. These events can help build our confidence and teach us how to face challenges in life. Sometimes, it's not even about winning it's about learning, growing, and having fun while making memories with our classmates and friends. It was a truly unforgettable experience that helped me grow not just as a student, but also as a person.

Challenges Faced, Lessons Learned

    Through our lesson in first quarter, I've discovered and gained new knowledge. Upon discovering this new knowledge I encountered many challenges that makes my journey more difficult but fun and what I did to address this problems. 

     As we completed the first quarter of this school year I gained many new discoveries and knowledge. Things like, plate tectonics theory, how the earth was a supercontinent called “PANGEA” before. And became the basis of the plate tectonics theory. I also learned how volcanoes, mountains, and other geological landforms, they are formed because of the different plate movements. I’ve also known many notable people who help to discover internet and the ones who introduced internet to the philippines. The famous people in the field of music and arts, and their different style they use. In math, I learned many formulas. This first quarter I gained many knowledge these are the lessons that I enjoy a lot. Studying is not effective and fun if you didn’t face any problems. I faced many challenges like time management issues, poor study habits, distractions, and balancing academics and personal life. This problems are the main cause of my poor academic performance. The things that I did to address this challenges are ask for help to the person that who is willingly to help. I make a schedule to know what I will do to avoid cramming due to lack of time, focus to the things that you are doing to avoid any distraction.

     Moving on I will always do not just try your best. You need to be strong and have a determination to face the challenges. Studying is hard but I always remember that this will lead me to a better future, the successful one.
